What is a framework for structuring a teaching moment?
In short: MOMBI 2.0 is a 6 steps teaching framework that shows how to structure a teaching moment based on learnings from neuro science and the science of learning.
MOMBI 2.0 is a framework that presents 6 key steps for good learning and then pairs each of these moments with an activity that the teacher can design.
The model also shows what are key human needs that need to be taken into account and what are elments in the environment that need to be considered.

Why do I like this framework?
This framework helps me a lot because it gives me the base structure for my teaching. I can then define how long each element is and what I put in it. But I don't have to start from scratch each time.
The second aspect I appreciate is the evidence based aspect. This framework is not just one that is inspired by the practice of someone, but is based on the science of learning and neuroscience.
How did I discover this model?
As I'm doing a CAS in didactics at the HSLU, within the foundational didactics course we read a chapter of the book "Competence Oriented Teaching and Learning in Higher Education - Essentials" by Heinz Bachmann. That's where I got to read about it first.
