Accessibility
In short: I tried my best to make this website accessible following the guidelines of the WCAG 2.2, but I'm still learning about it. PDFs, and videos are one part that might especially suck. I'm working on it. I'm happy for your feedback if you notice something I could improve.
What is this?
This is an accessibility statement by Daniele Catalanotto for this website which I call Swiss Innovation Academy.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Swiss Innovation Academy is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

Technical specifications
The accessibility of the website relies on the following technologies to work with the particular combination of web browser and any assistive technologies or plugins installed on your computer:
- HTML
- WAI-ARIA
- CSS
- JavaScript
These technologies are relied upon for conformance with the accessibility standards used.
Limitations and alternatives
Despite my best efforts to ensure accessibility of my website, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of the limitations I'm aware of, and potential solutions. Please let me know if you observe an issue not listed below.
Known limitations:
- Videos: Some videos don't have subtitles. because The video player from Ghost doesn't allow for subtitles.. The transcript of the video is added below the video.. .
- PDFs: PDFs might not be accessible yet because I haven't yet explored how to make the PDFs that I share more accessible. Some of the PDFs that I share are made of handwritten notes, to show my writing process.. I'm exploring how to make the PDFs of templates accessible.. Use the descriptions of the tools.
- No human testing yet: I haven't paid yet accessibility experts and users to do a test of the website yet. I'm still developing the template for this new website that runs on Ghost. As I'm developing it I'm using automated accessibility checker tools to help out. And once the website will be stable enough I'll pay to have some proper human testing.
Assessment approach
I assessed the accessibility of this website by using accessibility checkers. I used the following tools:
If you know some other strong tools that could help let me know.
Evaluation report
An evaluation report for the website is available at: https://wave.webaim.org/report#/https://www.swissinnovation.academy/.
This statement was created on 23 August 2026 using the W3C Accessibility Statement Generator Tool. I've reformulated a few sections to make them feel more fitting with the rest of the tone of the website, while keeping it serious and respectful.
