What inspirations do I steal from Sunday church services for my Service Design classes?

In short: object lessons for making things tangible, mixing formats to keep attention, building stations so people do what feels right for them, rituals to bring a sense of safety.

I love stealing inspiration from unrelated fields. Sunday services and how church communities are designed offer for me many ideas on how to make service Design teaching more interesting. If today pastors manage to get people to come church when there are many other fun things to do and no obligations there is definitely something to steal.
